The FOOLs' is the ultimate "road" trip across the state of New York

A 502 mile journey run from the mountains of NC to the Outer Banks.
Finishing at Jockey's Ridge State Park

Complete the FOOLS' Ultra via 100 Days running anywhere you want to .
This race was the brainchild of two Ultrarunners during COVID, and after some deliberation it was started along the banks of Niagra Falls in 2023.
Originally 409* miles the course has been refined to a cool 420ish. With only a handful of starters year one and two this race is not for the weak of feet.
Luckily there are four distances to pick from, all with amazing locations to start.
420 racers will start with their back to Niagra Falls (any closer and you'll need a barrel)
226 racers will start along Lake Ontario
100ish racers will start with their feet touching Cranberry Lake
50 racers will start in the shadow of the Olympic ski jump complex in Lake Placid
All racers will cross the ADK mountains following the same route finishing near the home of Champy the Lake Monster. Any racer who can capture Champy gets a free race for life.
, Regardless of distance racers will traverse on foot across the state on a designated route until they reach and touch the Samuel Champlain statue near Port Henry, NY. There will be two categories for racers in the distances
1.Un- Afraid- self supported
2. Afraid- crewed racer

Racers will be able to choose from 3-6-12-24 hour race times. Racers will then complete as many laps of a baseball infield as possible.

Racers will complete as many miles as they can via treadmill in a 7 Day Period. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Childhood Cancer Research

Racers will have 20 minutes to complete a mile, until they can no longer continue.
The catch: Every 20 minutes will consist of a period of time they will be stopped "red light" and "green light"
For the first six hours runners will have 20 minutes. They will run for 3:45/stop :15 until the 20 minutes is up. Those who cross the line before 20 minutes will continue. Hours 6-12 will be 3:30 run/:30 red light. After 12 hours there will be a 400 meter sprint, all of those over 3 minutes will be eliminated.
Hours 12-24 will be 3:15 minutes of run and :45 of red light.
At hour 24 hour all remaining racers will complete a one-mile race without stopping to set overall placements.
